Robert Puelo entered a 7-Eleven store in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1994 and started shouting and cursing.

When an employer threatened to call the police, Puelo grabbed a hot dog, and stuffed it defiantly down his throat and walked out without paying. The police who came afterwards, found him outside the store unconscious, and turning purple. He choked to death before he could be saved.
