Motorcyclist Ante Djindjic from Zagreb, Croatia, was knocked unconscious in 2007 when lightning struck his penis while he was taking a roadside toilet break.

His life was saved by the rubber boots he was wearing, which forced the lightning to seek an alternative exit from his body. Having been assured by doctors that his penis would eventually function normally, he said: "I just hope it is true that lightning doesn't strike twice."
