While out for a country walk near Barnard Castle, County Durham, in 2009, 66 year-old man, George Stastny tripped and fell on a narrow footpath down a cliff.

Stastny, fell down the 20 foot cliff, breaking his nose, and injuring his back. His wife Mary managed to drag him semi-conscious back to the top of the cliff before running to find help. No sooner while running, she turned to her husband and saw him stood up, fainted, and fell back down the same cliff.
